Wallace Sewell's Stölzl tote re-edits a 1926 blanket design by Bauhaus weaver Gunta Stölzl, introduced for the Bauhaus centenary in 2019 and kept in the range since. Nougat is the warm colorway: caramel, cream, rust and charcoal blocks in a loose, off-grid geometry.
The cloth is woven in Britain in large patterned panels, so every bag is cut from a different part of the design and no two match. The outer is merino lambswool and linen, lined in cotton, with two flat handles and room for a laptop, a market run or a weekend's worth of clothes. Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell design in London and produce in the mills of Yorkshire and Lancashire.
