Designed a block from the beach at their Venice headquarters in LA, The Heavy Tropix from Crap Eyewear is their flagship aviator sunglasses, inspired by standard issue GI frames from the 70s. Lightweight fit, but heavy vibes in bioacetate construction and earth-friendly, optical-grade materials.
Frame: Handcrafted bioacetate – biodegradable & plant-based. Prescription ready.
Lens: Polarized CR-39 lenses with 100% UVA/UVB protection.
Hardware: Durable 5 barrel hinges. Custom wire temple cores for added strength and superior fit. Beveled coffin temple accents.
