Bacana, slang for “cool” in Brazil, is a laid-back seating collection with generous proportions and minimalist construction. Its easy-to-assemble frame and plush, removable cushions create a cozy, customizable feel. Inspired by Brazilian mid-century design and Afra & Tobia Scarpa’s iconic Monk chair, the collection highlights material beauty with exposed hardware and fabric ties.
Each piece features FSC‑certified solid maple frames, natural latex foam, and a choice of 100% recycled velvet, upcycled poly, cactus leather, or hemp fabrics—sustainably sourced to minimize environmental impact. All frame, finishing, and upholstery production takes place within a 10-mile radius in High Point, NC, supporting ethical production in the U.S. and reducing our carbon footprint.
