The Essential Sectional pairs a sofa with a 61"-deep chaise that assembles on either side and can be reconfigured later. Back pillows lift off for lounging, and Sabai's Expansion Kits turn it into a corner sectional.
Cactus Leather is Desserto plant-based leather: 40% prickly pear cactus and 60% bio-based polymer on a cotton backing. It's PETA Approved Vegan, free of PFAS and BPA, rated to 75,000 Martindale rubs, and wipes clean with mild soap and a soft cloth.
Built on an FSC-certified plywood frame with CertiPUR-US certified high-resiliency foam (no flame retardants or formaldehyde), it's tested to withstand at least 10 years of regular use (ANSI/BIFMA X5.4). Sabai makes each piece to order with family-owned partners in North Carolina and Tennessee; it ships flat-packed and assembles with universal tools. Covers are removable, and cushions, covers and other components are sold individually through Sabai's Repair Don't Replace program.
